Belize is a country blessed with abundant wild life, diverse culture and a host welcoming people.   Belize is located on the east cost of central America with Mexico to our north Guatemala to  our west and south, and the Caribbean sea to the east.  A former British colony, we are the only country in Central America that has English as its official language.  We also speak a bit of Spanish and our very own English dialect called Creole.  Belize is a small country with an approximate area of 8,866 square miles and a population of approximately 280,000.  One of the most striking features of Belize is that approximately 70% of its land space is still dominated by its natural vegetation. 

WHO WE ARE

Belize boasts three of the worlds four atolls, Light House Reef , Glovers reef and Turneff Reef. The largest living barrier reef in the world can also be found here in  Belize.
